I attended this workshop last October (2011) and am returning again this year. Artist Cynthia Padilla was simply phenomenal in taking us on a journey of seeing and documenting the beautiful florals and people of this wonderful country. I feel like Antigua, Guatemala and Santiago at Lake Atitlan were made to draw, paint, photograph and just absorb all the beauty that is there to see. Volcano, cobblestone streets, ruins, celebrations, processions, coffee and sugar plantations and foods were there for our pleasure. Artists from beginner to expert should make this once in a lifetime trip.
